The Baroque Horse of the Midwest, Inc. currently provides/produces a licensed US Equestrian "A" Rated horse show that hosts the IFHSA Region 6 Championships, the IALHA Region 3 Championships, and Opportunity classes that are Open to All Breeds.
Requirements For Showing:
Friesian and Part-Bred Friesian Horses and Owners must belong to IFSHA.
Andalusian/Lusitano and Half Andalusian/Lusitano Horses and Owners must belong to IALHA.
Adult Amateur Competitors must be members of US Equestrian.
Junior Riders and Professional Exhibitors may be members of US Equestrian or pay for a US Equestrian Show Pass.
Junior Riders and Professional Exhibitors may be members of IFSHA or IALHA or pay for an association Show Pass.
Exhibitors in the Opportunity Classes do not need to be members of IALHA, IFSHA or US Equestrian but can only compete in the Opportunity Classes.
Expectations of Exhibitors
The Baroque Horse of the Midwest, Inc. is dedicated to education with respect to, and the promotion of, showing and exhibition of the Baroque Style horse of all bloodlines. The foundation of our association is built on the camaraderie of our members and exhibitors.
We strive to attract professionals, amateurs and junior exhibitors to our Regional Championship show. We expect all attendees, exhibitors and owners to promote good sportsmanship and to follow the BHOTM Code of Conduct.
